We are pleased to report that Bill Casson won the British Honda Cadet Kart Open Championship meeting on 14th July. Bill fought for the Open Championship title against 14 of the UK’s top cadet drivers at a blistering hot track near Yeovil at the weekend. After practice on the preceding day which produced very close lap times amongst the leaders, that consistently broke lap records, everyone was looking forward to an exciting and close day’s racing.

Only 10 years old, Bill has been involved in Karting since he was 8 and has been competing at National level for the last year. In this short space of time he has progressed to become a rising star in cadet karting and dreams like many his age and older of becoming the next British Formula 1 superstar. Bill said “My Dad used to race cars and go karts. I wanted to race as well but my dad said I couldn’t start until I was eight, when I got my first kart”.
